Previous Chief Information Security Officer Wanda T. Jones-Heath has taken a new role as the Principal Cyber Advisor for the DAF. 

 

Hail and Farewell

 The Chief Information Security Officer, Mr. Aaron Bishop, is pleased to announce that Colonel Becky Beers has assumed duties as the DAF Deputy Chief Information Security Officer. Col Beers joins SAF/CNZ from Los Angeles Air Force Base, where she served as the Garrison Commander, and brings over 20 years of cyber experience to the CISO organization, including duties in AFCYBER as Chief of Combat Ops in the Cyber Operations Center and as a Cyber Intel Squadron Commander.

Mr. Bishop would also like to congratulate Col Jon Bakonyi on his upcoming retirement from the Air Force and thank him for his 30 years' dedicated service, culminating in outstanding service as the Deputy CISO during a crucial time in the CISO organization.
